Vrijescholen Athena is a foundation managing 15 different Waldorf (vrijescholen) schools across the Netherlands. They needed a central, overarching web portal to unite these locations. The site had to manage a massive amount of text-based information, policy downloads, and foundation-wide job vacancies without appearing cluttered or overwhelming to parents and staff.

We utilized the WordPress CMS to build an easy-to-manage portal. We implemented a "human-centric," minimalist design aesthetic that deeply reflects the Waldorf educational philosophy. Under the hood, we utilized WordPress's core media capabilities for structured document management, built a dedicated "Vacatures" (Vacancies) portal for foundation-wide hiring, and created intuitive directory structures to guide users instantly to their specific local school branch.
